Welcome to Radhika Teachers Traning College Bhandarej Dausa

The degree in Bachelor of Education comprises the study of academics. It is popularly called B.Ed. and is needed for those who want to make a career in the field of teaching. Here candidates interested in following a career in any teaching school will aspire for the degree. The degree can be earned only after completing graduation. These days it is mandatory to earn a degree in B.Ed. before you apply for a teaching job in any teaching facility. The course is of one-year duration and can be done parallel with the graduation final year course. One can apply for distance learning program as well.

The exams are conducted by the National Council for Teacher Education, the authorized board in India to regulate the entrance exam.

Admission procedure

Every candidate who aspires to earn a degree in B.Ed. should appear for the entrance exam that is conducted by the recognized board of India. The application forms are provided by paying a small fee to the board. One can get the application form from the official website of the university. One can also purchase it directly from college or institutions.

The entrance exam comprises objective type questions and will have around 200 questions. Various subjects covered in the exam are logical reasoning, GK, English, common awareness and some subjects from the teaching field. One can choose the specific field as well. Upon passing the entrance exam the candidate will be notified for joining the college.

Eligibility criteria

The candidate should have passed his/her graduation from a recognized university. The graduation should have been done in areas of science and arts. Candidates should score at least a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the graduation degree course. Those who have passed PG degree without the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern will not be considered for admission.

The admission to the B.Ed. colleges depends on the marks scored by the candidate in the entrance exam. Upon getting the needed score, the candidate will be notified.

Reserved classes can get relaxation in the minimum scores as stated by the recognized board. There is no age criterion so everyone is eligible to appear for the entrance test.

Those interested in the teaching job only apply for B.Ed., so the career options that are open to them are from the academic field. One can work as a primary, middle or high school teacher based on the specialization. There are plenty of schools and institutes who are in need of good teachers to help improve the quality of the education that is provided to the students. One can also take up private tuitions and conduct classes in their specialized subject. There are plenty of government schools as well as private schools who hire teachers with B.E.d degrees. Besides, there are vacations and plenty of holidays as well.

With experience one can also get a promotion and become a vice principal and later, a principal. Other jobs they can look into include online tutor, education counselor, education consultant, home tutor, etc.


Higher studies

After B.Ed. the candidates can also take up higher education like M.Ed., Ph.D., M.Phil., LL.B. and many more. This can also increase your position in the facility as well as your salary. It is also possible to take up a job and also study while working.

Salary

Teaching is a respected profession and therefore is most popular. The pay packages in the government schools are much higher and also get increased on a regular basis. The salaries in the private schools are a little less. If you want to work in private coaching classes, then the salary will be much better and lucrative.
